The West Side Motel in Faulkton, SD is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The humble exterior betrays the fantastically soft beds, simple interior, and serene peace. I highly recommend anyone passing through to check it out.
Great value for the price. Obviously this place is not fancy, but the staff was very friendly and helpful despite me waking her up at 1:30 in the morning. The room was clean and did not smell, as was the bathroom. The hot water took a while to work but once it did it was good. The bed was clean and there were no bugs, and the a/c worked really well. I would definitely recommend this place and will absolutely stay here again if I am ever crossing that part of the country.
